Auditorium Shores

Auditorium Shores is an urban park located in downtown Austin. It holds many local events and has a great view of downtown Austin. It stands next to Lady Bird Lake and the Long Center. This is the park where I used to take my dog on walks and where I used to ride bikes with my friends. Over  the recent years it has become a den for homeless camps and major littering. This Austin park has seen better days.

Zilker Park

Zilker Metropolitan Park is a city owned recreational use park. It's vast landscape comes with amenities like volleyball courts ,biking paths, playgrounds, and lots more. It serves as a staple are in Austin's major event venues. This is where my mom would take me to play frisbee and spike ball when I was younger. Since the increase in Austin's population it has become more littered with trash and has not been given the respect it deserves.

Wild Basin Preserve

Wild Basin Preserve is a preserve located in west Austin. It is actually the first nature preserve founded in Austin in the early 70's. When I visited I was amazed at the beautiful scenery and the cleanliness of the park. This is what all parks and preserves should strive too look like. It is well taken care of and hopefully will stay that way.

Little Stacy Park

Little Stacy park is a local park near south congress. It has many fun features from a basketball court to a swimming pool. In the past several years it has been overrun with trash and the wadding pool has been closed off and drained. This is my old neighborhood park. It is where I learned how to play soccer and how to swing. It is so sad to see what it has come too.

Mayfield Park

Mayfield Park and Nature Preserve  is a historic park in west Austin that overlooks Lake Austin. Mayfield Park is very beautiful and careful when it comes to preserving their park. The only trash that I noticed in my visit was down by the creek and lake when walking the trails. We can still do abetter job at maintaining this park.
